March 8-12 - Spirit Week! March 12- Auction! Next Week is Spirit Week! Yeah! Monday - Career Day Tuesday - Crazy Hair & Accessories Day Wednesday - Route 66 Day (50’s road trip) Thursday - Twin Day Friday -School Colors. Please keep school uniform guidelines in mind when choosing your child’s costumes. I.E. No bare shoulders, short hemlines or inappropriate themes.
Attention all parents, friends and board members: Auction Help Needed! Your help is greatly desired on the morning of Thursday the 11th – right after drop offs – to move auction items and set up at Foothills. Meet at the school at 8:00 a.m.
Board Nominations are due soon. Be thinking about people you would like to see serving our school by leading. If you are interested in serving, talk to Miss Martin or Mr. Neely or to a current board member.
There are some leftover auction invitations in the office. If you know someone who has not been put on our mailing list that you would like to see come to the auction, come by, pick up some invitations and leave us their address to add for next year.
Thank you to those families who have signed up to help with the class baskets. Also if you have not brought in the item you signed up for, please do so as soon as possible. There is a box in the teacher’s room where you can drop off items. Again THANK YOU for your support. (from Dee Wilson)
Time to start bringing in your raffle tickets! All unsold tickets as well as ticket stubs and money need to be returned to Dee Wilson or brought to the office by Friday, March 5th. Also, remember, that every child that sells one ticket will be rewarded with a small prize. The child that sells the most tickets will win a larger prize, and the class that sells the most will win a class party. Also, for every ticket your child sells they will earn an entry for a prize. These will be awarded at a chapel next month.
Auction Meetings: Every Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00. Please come help with all it takes to make the auction a success!
We would like to have a parent volunteer on the playground every day for morning recess (10:10 - 10:40 a.m.) to be an extra set of eyes. Please contact the office if you or a grandparent or friend would be able to commit to a regular time. Monday and Wednesday mornings are still open.
Moms in Touch meets at Foothills church every Monday morning at 8:30. Join other moms in praying for our kids. Contact Melody Davis with any questions.
If you have been saving any box tops or Campbells Soup labels please bring them in at any time.
Lunch next Friday will be: Tacos, salad, carrots, dessert
